Dime error?

    Is this an error? Looks like the I and N didn't print completely, and there looks like there is something wrong with the ear

    I can't really tell by the quality of the picture, but if there is any error there it would be mechanical doubling- quite common and no added value

    Welcome to Coin Talk, Michelle. I did not see anything on your coin that looked out of the ordinary. The weakness you asked about usualy is caused by dirt and grease getting impacted into the die. Another cause is Die Deterioration, or worn out dies.

    Thank you, I find myself with alot of time on my hands as i wait for ssdi so decided to start looking at coins
