With a lot of the recent posts on "is it a 65 or a 66?" by collectors learning about coins, post a coin that you think is "up there," and a good example of the date/series/ and grade. I will go first. Here is a recent acquisition of a very common date Morgan, that pushes the limits of being really sharp and high appeal for the date:
I love common date high grade morgans and am trying to practice taking better pictures so this thread is perfect for me right now. Not sure why they turned out so gold colored gotta play around more with the lighting. The reverse images seem to be solid but all the obverse full slab ones are bad. Will keep at it. Anyway here are a few I shot except first one is not my picture cause I couldn't get it close to accurate. A very nice 81-S 67: A nice 87 MS67: An overgraded 1886 MS67 that should be a 66: An 82S MS66 that should be a 67 IMO. Coin is unbelievable in hand. Can barely find more than 2-3 tiny hits scanning meticulously with a loupe and booming luster. Going in for reconsideration eventually.
It's not your lighting, it's the white balance setting on your camera. I did a quick edit in camera raw to adjust your white balance.
