Hello all, I saw this on ebay and thought it may be useful for some. I did not find anything, but I know many people have used David Lawrence for coin purchases, so maybe that one item in your watch list will finally be at a good price. http://www.ebay.com/rpp/3496#tc Code: PJUNESAVINGS10 These are the two ebay coin sellers that are part of the promotion: DavidLawrenceRareCoins NobleSpirit What is the Promotion? This Coupon is a 10% discount valid from 8AM PT June 5, 2017 until 11:59 PM PT on June 9, 2017. Discount applies to the purchase price (excluding shipping, handling, and taxes) of an eligible item(s) of $25 or more on eBay.com. Eligible items are items(s) purchased from the sellers listed below. The discount will be applied to eligible item(s) only and will be capped at a value of $100.
Thanks for the tip, but man, those "buy from this short list of sellers" promotions fit the exact opposite of my eBay shopping patterns. On the bright side, at least this one's available to me, unlike the 8% eBay Bucks that everybody else seems to get...
You can probably enroll: http://pages.ebay.com/rewards/faq.html I think the catch is that you have to allow eBay to send promotional email messages.
David Lawrence has a Confederate dime I've been watching, but it'd need to come down a bit. Like maybe 80%.
I saw that they've got one of the 1894-S Barber dimes up, too. $2.5 million -- but I'd get $100, plus $100 in eBay Bucks, and FREE SHIPPING!
yes I learned that while I'm sure he has a nice target market, I am not one of the targets. Beautiful coins, just need a 50% off sale for me to buy any of them.
I'm not at that level, bu sooner or later they'll figure out that I only buy coins. So they're collecting 6% from the seller and giving me 8% - occasionally 10%.
They're getting 10% from plenty of coin sellers, especially the low-end occasional sellers that I treasure most. And they're giving back only 1% now to folks like me.
I want to try and not buy anything for a couple months and see if that provokes them to give me an 8% offer but I always find a coin I like too much to pass on and it starts the clock over. Forever no bonuses.
Try creating a new account. Enroll it in ebay bucks, use it to buy a few small items, and see if you get the 8x/10x offers there. It worked for me and others. It's at least worth a try.
