Why not call a wildcard and make it both? Or, 'either' would be more sensible :)

No. let's make it both so that it is more challenging. It will give me a chance to catch my breath!

I cant find anything with a 1946 date, but I'm pretty sure there's one in here. does this count?

    But it was DATED 1936 ;) :D

Hmm, I have some exonumia retro patterns heading back from NGC that were minted in 2001 but are dated 1879 (like this set http://www.ebay.com/itm/1879-VICTORIA-GEORGE-amp-DRAGON-PROOF-PATTERN-RETRO-3-CROWN-SET-silver-copper-bron-/191880361240?hash=item2cacf5f518&nma=true&si=BTMWFQa50tKqsE%2FJ3ygMSk7eO4s%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557)

Which way will that set swing...

I think either is/was a good choice as this type of Uno has wildcards. That said, going by what I THINK I see in that pile up there, then I'm going to go hunt for a British coin or a 1946 one. I'm running out of pictures!

    Edited to add--found one!

    Love the 2 cents!

This one is another from my 'junk silver lot' from a local auction house. It was a lot with a few halves, and sold higher than a junk price, but not by much! One of the coins was bent, but even so, this is just a bit too nice to be junk.

    US or 1838 to follow.

    Gee... ya think so? LOL

Stork gets the "Mistress of Understatement" title for the day.

Sweet original looking 1833 CBH for ... junk silver?

I'd hate you if I didn't already love you. ;)

Does the "You Suck" award apply on CT, or is that strictly a CU phenomenon?

    One wonders.

PS- it is an 1833, not 1838. The latter would be of the Reeded Edge subtype, with the modified portrait.

If it makes you feel any better, I no longer own that coin, so as with much of this stuff, I'm only showing off "bygones". ;)

Some of my bygones do duty as Uno game pieces for years after I sell them.

That one is a recent departure, though. (Swapped for a Pillar dollar just within the last month.)
