I have a 1989 penny that is compleatly zinc in color, and in mint condition. This coin appears to not have been plated with copper. What should I do to see if it is real and has any value?

Can you send an image of it to craton@error-coins.com ? If you can, I'll take a look at it. Though it may be hard to tell if it is legit from a digital image, sometimes there are tell tell signs of post mint damage that may be easy to spot.

It may be silver plated, like I believe my 1984 example is.
