I whole heartedly agree, and some that I have disputed with the shop owner, they have actually changed the tag to counterfeit and reduced the price.
    very rare though.

You guys are good. This one even just a coin collector like I could see. Then I checked it against the ones in the auction pictures.

You don't want to pass on a counterfeit unless it's clearly marked as such; I don't care if you disclose, I don't care if you give the darn thing away.

Wait..."He flung the coin across the room"? Why would you even consider doing business with that attitude?

Even though this one didn't work out, you've got me itching to go back and try my luck at the local pawn shop.

Earlier this week when I went in, they'd cleared a bunch of clad proof sets out of the coin counter, which made it look pretty bare -- and focused attention on the shiny matte-devices-on-mirror-fields 1889 Morganoid centered in the case. I didn't even ask them to open the case and turn it over; pretty sure it was going to say "CC" and/or "COPY", but it wasn't worth the time.

The guy was obviously ticked off at himself, and possibly didn't believe it was fake, though who knows how many told him before me.
To tell you the truth he gets some descent stuff from time to time. his attitude doesn't really matter to me.
