1990 close or wide am

    Wide AM as all 1990's should be. The close AM hub didn't come into existance for another two years.

    There's an edge on one side but the other side is edgeless

    This is what is called a misaligned die. When the die is set in the press there are adjustment settings that are used to make sure it is centered above the opening in the collar so the rim will be even all the way around the coin. If the settings aren't made properly the die will be misaligned to one side and you get a coin like the one you have. Misaligned dies are not that uncommon and typically do not bring a premium unless they are so far off that part of the design is missing. Those are scarce because if the die is that far off it is actually smacking into the edge of the collar opening. Either die, hammer or anvil, can be misaligned, but the anvil die can never be off by more than a slight amount because it fits inside the collar at all times. The hammer die, since it spends part of the time out of the collar, can be further off.
