She's cracked up on the reverse, a VAM. MS65 for my money.

    - MS64
    - You have a die scratch on the reverse right above the arrow feathers that comes out from underneath the olive branch and extends towards the leaves. This is characteristic of VAM2 for the 81CC: http://www.vamworld.com/1881-CC+VAM-2
I can't quite tell what's going on with the 8's on your coin to confidently say they're doubled, so you may want to take a loupe and see what's going down.

I'm on the 64+ versus 65 hairsplitting fence.

    Flip a coin.

NO!!! Not THAT coin!!! You'll make it a 63! LOL ;)

The fields are really clean! I think the cheek threw a bunch of us off the trail. I'd guess it looks much less baggy I'm hand than in the close-up photo. Nice coin!

Those pics show the grade much better. Solid 66. And every + grade I've sent them has stickered fwiw. Nice coin

I think it's overgraded in the first place. That isn't to say it isn't nice, I just wouldn't pay MS66 money for it.

If that coin CAC'd, it's time for me to forget everything I thought I knew about evaluating Morgans.
