Old thread, but it might be of some help to you. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/standard-reference-for-store-tokens.247588/
Checked the Fuld store card book and my Rulau catalog with no luck . Did get a hit on a search at tokencatalog.com, second item on the page, link is here: http://tokencatalog.com/display_records.php?SearchStringEveryWord=koppers stores&SubmitFilter=SearchUSA&action=DisplayRecords&ta_country=U.S.A.&td_state=&td_city=&SearchString=&SearchStringAnyWord=&HomePageSearch=&view=All Listings Looks like a Company Store type of token.
It is a coal scrip token. I'm not sure but I believe it may have been used at more than one mine. The token catalog ling above seems to show one as the second item from Coxton KY, but it show a very similar one from Beards Fork WV. Koppers Store seems to have been associated with several mines and locations. The catalog for these is Edkins Catalog of United States Coal Company Store Scrip Vol 1 West Virginia and Vol 2 Other States. For a long time these were not easy books to get a hold of, but a new edition has been printed.
Probably made by the Osborne Company in Cincinnati Ohio in the 20's. There are a ton of these on ebay, in various denominations.
