Hi All, Many of you know me from my YouTube channel, Silverpicker, but I'm curious to know what other numismatic YouTube channels you guys watch and what you like about them. In part, I want to improve my own channel to hit the topics that other coin collectors like, but also to find more great channels to watch that I may be missing! Moreover, I think having a thread with all the best coin collecting YouTube channels would be a great resource for everyone on CoinTalk.com! Let me know what y'all think! -SP
After seeing a few videos a few years back, I don't look at, or subscribe to, any Youtube videos or channels that you describe simply because I believe they are all crap.
I'm not much of a youtube viewer either. I prefer stand alone pictures (when it comes to coins), not moving pictures. I do enjoy youtube for other things though.
Numismatic channels on YouTube is a good idea, but the content right now lacks. Youtube videos can be an excellent tool for getting newer coin collectors and YN's into the hobby.
There were a few YT channels I used to watch showing people using metal detectors and some of those folks apparently found the coins they showed. I did not find those channels very educational except I learned this: I wanna metal detectorrrr!
