IMG_0836.JPG IMG_0837.JPG I am not exactly sure why there is a rainbow blob on this. Maybe some one here knows

It came in contact with something that toned it.

So this isn't anything but damage? Is it premium coin?

I don't call toning damage but some do. I would not pay a premium for it but someone else might.

Have any idea as to how much I could fairly price this?

$10,000,000 on e-bay. Seriously, recent issues such as this, that have not had time for "natural" toning would bring whatever someone wants to pay. If you offered it on e-bay and started at $5, you might get some bids.

artificial toning is considered damage and is most likely what this is..

I highly doubt that I would get that much lol but I may get it graded. Gonna ask a few ppl around town that can get a better look at it.

Here is a couple better pictures with angles. Maybe someone can spot something that can tell weather or not this is artificial toning. Oh ya and I found another one lol. These were found in two different places too lol IMG_0841.JPG IMG_0848.JPG IMG_0849.JPG IMG_0850.JPG IMG_0845.JPG IMG_0846.JPG

No premium for someone else's snot on a coin. Do a swab test for bacteria and you would be surprised how many germs are on coins. I wash my hands thoroughly after handling change from the store or coins I find in the street! :yack:

If you were born when Washington was born, you can only hope to look that good in 2017. :)

I apologize. It's my paranoia. It comes from decades of living in NYC and seeing what happens to coins when they are affected by urine, spit and other bodily waste :vomit:

It looks like the high points on the obverse may have briefly come in contact with something very hot. It could also have been physical contact with a chemical, but I'm leaning towards heat. I agree with some of the other comments that there wouldn't be enough time for a 2017 copper/nickel clad coin to tone like that without a little help.
