    If it is this
your refering to is what I do instead of doing a search in CT for a particular subject or topic that interests me which will usually give to many broad amounts of threads and hard to find, I have a folder on my hard drive outside CT, where I have copied address links with subject, members avatar name that opens straight to what I am after.......like for instance, star sign coins that nobody is interested in.

From the die links tree study it's likely they have been struck concurrently, especially considering a said reverse die (they didn't last very long) would have been used with obverse dies of different emperors at the same time

I enjoyed your thread on Decius and particularly his Divi series. Your Gemini Augustus came from the collection of one of my best friends. I am glad it got a good home. My main interest is late Roman and Byzantine, but I am going to post a double sestertius of Decius I obtained from the same collection, but which did not make it to the catalog stage. I hope you like it.

Very nice, being a double sestertius how much does it weigh?

It weighs 37.03 gr. The collection from which it came has around 10 doubles of Decius. Their weights vary widely.

Thank you @Voulgaroktonou for showing this gorgeous double sestertius. That's the kind of big chunk that would fit nicely in my TD collection :)

Nice too to have a connection with an "actual collector" for my new entry. Should your friend be anxious about his coin, you can tell him I will cherish it for the rest of my life ....

Very informative thread Cucumbor. I enjoyed reading the article very much. I think that may be the first thing I have read about the Trajan Decius Divi series.

Thanks for your note. Glad you like my double. Is Decius your specialty? You have some very nice examples of the Divi series. I also got from my friend a Divo Marco, which was the last piece I lacked in the series. But not being a specialist in that area, I have not tried to get an example of each different reverse type or legend variety. I'm content with one example of each emperor represented. Late Roman and Byzantine keep me busy enough! I'm very new to Coin Talk, but not to ancients, having collected and studied them for over 50 years. I will let Bill know that his coin has found a loving new home! All best wishes, Mike
