Planchet Flaw? Should it have straight graded?

The seller had it listed as a strike thru error. I disagree, but think it is a planchet flaw instead. What do you think? Think it should have straight graded? I personally am ok with it, since it's clearly uncirculated and not terribly distracting (as in, not huge and not in a focal area).

I can't tell what it is but agree with a straight grade of 63. Nice coin.

I agree! Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but whether it was a strikethrough or a planchet flaw wouldn't have mattered where the grade was concerned.

Based on the pic, I say struck through. I've seen the TPGs straight grade a mint error coin, and give a details grade to a planchet error. But I've seen them certify a planchet error as an error coin and then give it a straight grade - maybe they just want the extra money?

You guys are convincing me of it being a strike thru. I suppose it would continue into the rim if it were a planchet flaw or crack!

Looks like a small scratch to me but tough to tell. Whatever it is it's probably small enough to not preclude a straight grade though

Looks like a scratch to me. Maybe it's the design location but that looks like metal is turned up and displaced not just missing on my phone.

I'm okay with that having a straight grade, just not as a 63 without an error designation. A 61 maybe 62 sure, but 63 has a significant value jump.

Look at the way the metal is pushed up in a couple of places. Coupled with the adjoining depression, the only way that could happen would be if it was a strikethrough.
