That is a great Example of a Misaligned Die Strike on the Obverse. Slight doubling could be due to Die Deterioration. But someone who knows better can give you a different answer @Rick Stachowski
It's strike doubling. A piece of the "top" image is cut off, separated. In die doubling, that top image is always intact, as it's the last contact with the coin. There's nothing over that top image to distort it. Look to the left of your letters and note the widths of the top images are all foreshortened. The doubling you're seeing just completes those normal widths of the top images. That doubling was caused by a little hop when the planchet was struck.

You really should send this coin in to Mr. Wexler . Not sure if anyone knows about the MAD . Here's a thread on a 2014 without the MAD . Variety sites (wexler) only listed it with MAD . https://www.cointalk.com/threads/wddo-003-2014-cent.278895/
I guess you do have one because it wouldn't repeat were it strike doubling and Rick just showed with the match it repeats. I'm reminded of we're never too old to learn. But at least I'm still handsome.
