It's great that you feel that way but our "friends" in China have a stranglehold on our country.

The things I avoid from China are foodstuffs, but a friend of mine pointed out that even if a food is "Made In America", it still possibly uses Chinese ingredients.

There is very little clothing still manufactured in our country, China and other Asian countries have taken it all and the many thousands of jobs that went with it.
That's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all the manufacturing jobs that have been lost to our "trade partners" in China

I got something similar about a year ago on eBay. But the one I purchased was 65X and came with two batteries. My first battery has not run out yet. I went to see if it is still offered but I only see the 60X one. I like that it clips onto my iPad and that when I select to use the blue (ultra violet, I guess) light it makes doubled die marks stand out more than with white light. I hope you'll like it. Here is the item information in case my search on eBay was not deep enough. I paid $8.22 for it (including shipping).

I received mine a week ago and am very pleased . I actually overpaid at $2.27 total .

Mine actually arrived in a packet sent from Malaysia even though the seller was listed as from China .

I don't know how they can produce and send such an item at this cost .
The mailer, label, box, pouch, instructions, light, battery and the unit itself all cost something to produce .
Then add in the labor and cost to ship it 10,000 miles

It makes you scratch your head in wonder ?????

I think you all will pleased with your purchase .

Yeah, @Bigpoppa How in the world do they do that? At the price I paid (when that was the only one I saw listed on eBay at the time) I figured they could do it for the price I paid. I wish someone could explain it to me. Maybe they want to lose money - like that Broadway show, "The Producers." Maybe taking a loss is the goal?

Got mine yesterday, neat item and it came from China. I took these photos using my new $5 camera that I found in my favorite thrift shop.
After playing around with it I realized the lens needed to be cleaned.

Well my friend little do you know unless you live in the old wood shack in the woods. Your existence basically is affected by China in some way. Take for instance the way you post on threads. Where do you think all the precious metals come from that make your device able to post on the Internet. China is the top producing country in the world for precious metals.
It makes for some fascinating study about China. China has a lot more power then you think it does. USMC60

I got mine today and it does take the LR-1130 battery. The LED light is really pretty bright. I can see it being good for looking at mintmarks and possible doubled dies.

BTW it takes 3 of the LR-1130 batteries.

I got mine but there was some crap either on the lens or between the lenses. Attempted to clean it with a q-tip dipped in alcohol and it caused the lens to smear. They are sending me a new one.
