What do you collect?

    It was an Ebay purchase. I've bought every Canadian Large Cent the seller has listed in the last five months. He has nice stuff. :)

    I bought the 1/2 Dime in the early 80's. Paid less than $15.00 for it.

    I collect Toned Gold, Gold Errors, and Gold in old or interesting holders. Here are some examples:

    Should be able to click and enlarge the image, but Swiss, German, Mongolia, and Great Brittan coins in the mix.

    I collect based on an interest in history. My introduction to collecting was a fascination with the coins I was given from family and close family friends that traveled while serving the country while I was still a pre-teen. It spanned from WWII Europe to southeast Asia in the 70s. I can't begin to even list the countries that were covered. I spent many days in grade school looking at maps and learning about the history for each one. That fascination has not faded and I find myself looking for ancients based on my ongoing history lessons to this day. It changes all of the time.

    O.O................ omg........ that's what I'm talking bout. I've seen one of those native gold dollars. And I love the eagles on coins too those are always awesome

  12. I collect Japanese coins, mainly old mon coins.
    The Canadian coin is a commemorative of the ancient Chinese cash coins.

    I collect mainly ancient coins, but also other coins if they have historical interest, artistic interest, or if I just feel like it :happy:. Here's a sampler of some of my coins:
