Makanudo is a reference to certain sport shoes model, not "macanudo" cigars.
    Cheers

A suitably Roman photo for the thread. Here's a selfie of me last year in Rome's "Aquaduct Park," along with Constantine and a worn-out Hercules in the lower right corner. Screenshot 2017-02-06 13.46.37.png

A selfie in Washington DC last week with A. Lincoln. I had no idea the National Mall was so big and had so much to offer. I walked 16 miles last Thursday between the monuments and museums, and 12 miles on Friday. By Saturday, I was glad to be sitting on the airplane and giving my feet a well-deserved rest.

Washington DC is beautiful. I enjoyed it a lot. Next time I'll make it a longer visit, except this trip was partially business and not pleasure...though I got a lot of tourism in during my spare time.

Seems like a lot of you have been to the Colleseum. Nice pictures from a great historical place. I will go a different route with a historical picture. Here is a picture of me at Masada in Israel taken by a friend with a much better camera than mine.

    IMG_4255.JPG

Don't worry there is a coin tie in! The site of Masada was one of the most important archeological sites in Israel for numismatist. It was here that a good number of silver coins from the Jewish revolt were uncovered in great condition after the site was rediscovered in the mid 20th century. These were the first silver Jewish coins and were minted during the revolt to pay the Temple tax after the Jews lost access to the Tyrian shekels accepted previously. Lots of these were overstruck on other types.

I'm not much of a gun person, which is why my coin defense system is so underwhelming.

Still, that should hopefully be enough to deter people from touching my precious Gordian III without permission.

You can tune a guitar but you can't tune a fish.
