This will be more of an issue when the limit is one coin than when it was 5. However, I'm sure there will be plenty of employees who either don't want the coins or can't afford them. The dealers are starting to advertise these coins now. see Cornerstone Numismatics First Spouse Coins
It will be interesting to see how long it takes for this Jefferson to sell out, I am guessing it will be just two or three hours until it is over based on the sales of the earlier coins. There were 80,000 of those with an average order size of 3, so approx. 26,000 orders assuming the mint was accurate. This coin will probably take about that many orders to max out so it could be a repeat or even take less time if everyone orders two.
Here we go again, from the mint website: "The Thomas Jefferson’s Liberty Gold Coins will begin shipping in late September." So we get to order this week and have to wait until late September for them to be shipped if you got your order in fast. At least it will make the prices go even higher, LOL.
The mint web site on the spouse program says each coin will be a different liberty based on the circulating liberty during that presidents term. Of the different liberty's available for the upcoming coins I think I like this one the most. Regards Darryl
Explain this I have been monitoring the selling prices of First Spouse gold coins and I've discovered something very strange. Here are two items in a search of completed listings suggesting that these coins sold for less than $260. Enlarge 2007 W MARTHA WASHINGTON FIRST SPOUSE GOLD$10 NGC MS70 IN STOCK - WITH WOODEN BOX AND COA ,SERIAL # WILL VARY View similar active items Sell one like this 3$256.11 $12.95 Aug-19 19:34 Enlarge 2007 W ABIGAIL ADAMS FIRST SPOUSE GOLD$10 NGC MS70 IN STOCK - WITH WOODEN BOX AND COA, SERIAL # WILL VARY View similar active items Sell one like this 5$258.13 $12.95 Aug-19 19:29 However, if you open these listings, you find that the actual sales prices were $665.55 and $590.01. Can anyone explain why the completed listing search doesn't have the final sales price? In any case, this suggests that a true picture of the pricing requires going to each listing individually.

Yeah.. whoever designed the Mint's site... :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang: needs a swift kick in the junk
I have them in my cart, but can't successfully get through checkout I made it through! And I just got the confirmation e-mail! Woohoo!... Well...maybe I'll save my celebrating for when the coins actually arrive. Counting chickens before they're hatched and all that... :/ Thanks, Wally
I think these coins went into waiting list just after 2 PM eastern time so those with orders before that have a good shot at getting them. I got my orders in, LOL.
I'm seeing the mint took about 27,000 orders up to 2PM EST so that is probably close to the cutoff for these coins. I can't see more than 30% ordering only one coin with this. 40,000 coins with 27,000 orders.
