1932 philly penny weirdness

    Would need a better photo of why you think it is a lamination. I think it is PMD, I can only see darkness, and do not see the evidence that it might be peeling away.

    It's not polite to hijack another person's thread. Besides, you would get a better response if you started your own thread in the US Coins forum. Also, when posting your photos, it is better if you use the "Full Image" option rather than the "Thumbnail".

    PMD = Post-minting damage

    i.e.: it didn't occur in the Mint,
    or when the coin was struck.
