If this is an acid dipped penny than obviously can't gain weight, or can it? Yes I know the date isn't clear but I am freaking out a little cause it looks like it has 1983 D. And I'm sure you know that year is supposed to be 2.5 grams. Did Someone dip this in acid and re coat it with copper?? I know I keep bringing this penny up but i finally was able to weigh it. Can you see what I am talking about? Do I at least have a logical question with this?
You know what you are probably right because on the 83 the 3 looks different from this three. Pffft I wish I thought of that before I posted this haha darn owell
