Personally, I don't see it, but I've noticed other 1969S Pennies online that claim to be DD that look similar to this one. That's why I posted it. Just increase the zoom on your computer to view it better. The photos look big on my end.
There is at least one other, comparatively minor, DDO for this date/mint which could possibly explain what you've (OP) has seen. However, it's equally if not more likely that what you've seen is one of the insane number of nonsense claims made by people dreaming they've the big one. In fact, we've one going right now. That said, welcome to the forum.
Yes, my mistake. I've been looking at Wheats all afternoon and I this mistakenly referred to it as a Wheat penny. My bad.
If you'd like to spend a little more time checking into your coin, below are a few links that'll help (note: you'll have to actually search the first one by typing in date, mint, etc). It's an extreme long shot, yes, but if this is something you're interested in (varieties), it's really good homework. http://coppercoins.com/diesearch.php http://doubleddie.com/314201.html http://varietyvista.com/01b LC Doubled Dies Vol 2/DDO 1969-S.htm
