I just got these two GSA's back from NGC today. Let's see if you can guess how they graded them? You've probably seen them before in a past post from me, now they are officially graded. Up first is an 1883: And the 1884:
63pl, 65 Edit: I don't find the first coin a PL based on the images, it looks semi-PL. But the die pairing makes for the deepest 1883-CC DMPL's. Since it is a late die state of the pairing I figure it has a decent shot
Well, i tried to +1 bluevette but it didnt pan out that way. So, just to be different ill say- 63PL 64+
Once Todd speaks on PL's & GSA's it's like messydesk speaking on vams. Smart money says to not go against him/them
I normally would go 64+ on the 1884 but the neck is clean for a GSA. So I gave some benefit of the doubt.
1) MS 63 STAR ...star for it being almost prooflike 2) MS 64 + ...this one looks less baggy than the first, but it just misses being a 65
