I noticed like a jagged line of extra copper on this cent just wondering what it is and if it would be an error? I think it is I'm just not sure what never seen it before. 20170419_131143-1.jpg 20170419_131206-1.jpg 20170419_131230-1.jpg 20170419_131402.jpg 20170419_131300.jpg 20170419_131230.jpg

Oh ok well thank you, it goes all the way up into the back of Lincolns head, getting more and more faint. Are these worth more than the face value and worth keeping?

They are common errors on Copper Cents. They have to be major laminations in order to have a good premium. I have purchased similar to yours for like $2 - $4 bucks

For me, an error on a zinc cent would have to be spectacular to be anything.

Yeah i see all the blistering but that on the edge goes over the L and onto the rim southwest of the L and it just doesn't seem like a bubble or blister.

Could be a 'rim burr', where a sliver
of metal from the rim of the planchet
was folded onto the planchet when it
    was struck.

Doesn't look like most Rim Burrs, so it's
possible that it's a minor plating issue,
but I wouldn't call it a plating bubble.

More of a striking anomaly than anything else, imo.
