is the price for first spouse going down? The us mint recently approved my order for AA and i was wondering if i should cancel it if the prices are going down. Please advise? 4430 is a lot of money and if you think i won make any money by having these coins then i will probably skip it. Thanks.

There's no question the prices have come down, but I don't see any indication that they'll sell for less than issue price. The prices shown still represent very nice profits for such a short term.

ok then i will continue to march forward do you feel if i held on to the coin th eprofit will be greater after 3 months?

Please don't rely on me as an expert. I'm just making educated guesses. Initially prices went through the roof in just a few days in a panic of buying. Since then they've come steadily down. My opinion is that some of the very low prices right now are a result of panic selling or from people who need to sell their coins to pay the huge credit card bills they incurred from the purchase.

Some people are saying that after the Jefferson Liberty coin comes out it will depress the prices of the first two issues. I think the opposite may happen. People may again start looking at the possibility of building a complete collection and there will be renewed demand for the first two issues.

I'm going to continue to watch.

By all means, please cancel your order (so they can approve mine, hehehe...:)

Why are people buying and not buying coins based on the three month guess about the price? How can you build a collection like that?

this isnt for my collection this is for my investment to finance my collection

If it makes you feel better, I wanted to buy mine to keep for myself. Foolish me only put in 1 of each for my order (which didn't matter because three of them were already cancelled by the mint).

I'd say it would be nuts to cancel an order on this coin(s)

Okay, I hear your pain at $400 per order I would offer $450 sight unseen. Email me at grivers@ineteng.com and I'll take them all. :) Okay, maybe not ALL. Has anyome noticed the craziness that late nights create? OK, maybe it's just me.

Please don't assume I am covering up for a promiscuous lifestyle as I assure you I never even met these ladies. That's my story and I am sticking to it. :~?

i have got a marvelous idea i will trade the aa spouse for the dolly madison spouse. I might be out of the country when that goin gets released so it will act as a swap if needed.

I thought you could not even order the Jefferson first spouse until 8/30. How are you placing orders early for it? Please let me know as I want one for myself.

Yes, and so is a complete set of AGEs. I know there are different opinions about this sort of thing and some folks will pay big bucks for them so they are probably worth it. I just don't get overly excited by made-for-collectors-coins.
