That coin had a story behind it. Originally, when I glanced at the MDC/Monaco Auction, I wanted it really bad. However, I thought, everyone else out there would have the same desire. So, I never bid on it. When auction was over, I decided check what this coin realized, to my surprise it was "unsold"! So, I promptly sent a letter to them, that I would buy it. Thankfully, it was still available One never knows. Presently, I am looking for an early dated goldgulden from my home town of Julich-Cleve-Berg. I have three from Koln my Mother's birth City.
