I was quite excited to find this coin, this past weekend. I have been wanting one to go with my Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey Island coins. Ther where only 50,000 of the
½ Puffin and 50,000 of the 1 Puffin made. Mr. Harman was taking to court for having them made. more info on link. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coins_of_Lundy DSC05363.JPG DSC05365.JPG

I like those too. I have the half puffin but not the one puffin. At least I got mine in a junk bin for 15 cents though. 1929 lundy half puffin.jpg

Very nice, It looks like it has a deep rim with mint sharpness.

I also have a set of Lundy puffin coins made in 1965 I believe. I got it at a garage sale as part of a group of foreign coins for $7, and I think the set is worth about $50. I don't seem to have the coins scanned though and they're not where I can get at them easily.

There are also some fantasy 2014 dated coins from Lundy. The only ones that were the real deal were the 1929 coins. It would have been extra funny if Mr. Harman had paid his five quid fine in puffin coins, there were 240 puffins to the quid - so would have cost him 1200 puffins.

Check out the link I put in my original post. The 1965, 1977, 2011 issues are
    considered fantasy coins.

Thanks for the link to that article. I never knew that some of these actually saw "circulation" as limited as it was. Very cool.

Yeah, I know. I was surprised to find out they were worth anything.
