Here is my second 1793 Wreatth Cent. It is different from the other one i posted. This one also came from an auction in the UK around 1990. Again, please let me know your opinions as to final grade. It does have a number of rim knocks, specially visible on the reverse. The detail is overall quite good however. It is not pitted or porous. Regards, Eduard
Wow! That is a nice wreath cent. I believe it would grade vf-details rim damage. That has a very nice planchet.
Frank, dont believe it was so easy buying these coins for me, even if it was 20 years ago....... my wife still gave me hell every time a bought a new one. Even if I now tell her it turned out to be a good deal after all, she will still tell me we should have done something else with the money! Have a good day! Eduard
Man ! That is fabulous detail on the reverse... I'm no expert, but I'm going with VF-20, maybe better because of the strong reverse. I think it's cleaned.
Eduard: I know how you feel. Every time that I pull a silver coin I say that I made $2 on the coin (and put it away) she says that no, we didn't make $2, she lost a quarter. Nice coins!
