No, it is not the same coin as the example provided, and would say DDD if anything. But the pictures are to pixelated for me to say anything more definitive than that

  4. Thank you so much . what do you think should be my next step .

Not sure what you mean by next step, if you would like to take a clearer photo and post it will be looked at. Try taking a full picture of the coin obverse and reverse as clear as you can and crop out all but the coin, if you have more questions about the coin.

Also you posted a question on a thread that is really old. In the future if you want more response try opening a new thread.

    Keep looking & good luck

Last question just for curiosity, you used 3 different coins as examples to yours. Which of the 3 were you comparing it to?

  8. I forgot to mention I am new to this "cointalk" and I also started doing this as a hobby 2 years ago , due to the hobby/likeness of my grandfather and this was one of his coin he gave to me and the more i did research the more i question it. I have compared my coin to pretty much anything i can possibly compare it to , so to answer your question i think I'm trying to compare it to two out of the three examples .

  9. Pls forgive my inexperience vocabulary/knowledge about this but i am new and willing to learn anythibg and everything about this .

Do you have a jewelers loop? If so you would be surprised how well it will work if you put the loop in front of the camera lens of your cell phone and snap a photo like that. I honestly can't tell with the current photos. It appears that there may be an RPM, but I can't say for sure without a better closeups. Sorry

  16. Ok ill definitely try that. Thank you once again

  17. Heres some better pictures

I believe that you MAY, have a repunched mint mark, not much increased value, but a nice coin all the same for a circulated piece. The doubling you see is a product of die deterioration doubling or DDD, and what appears as possible strike doubling on the 8. With out coin in hand I would be unable to be more specific or 100% sure .

  20. I'm no expert but can i get some expert advice if this is a 1958 d ddo?
