A Morgan for under melt. I'll take that deal all day long.

    Great find.

It isn't worth submitting for grading.

  12. Congrats! It's a win-win. They likely paid less than $10 for it (maybe even just a $1). You get a nice piece of history for less than melt. Enjoy, TC

I'm with Sean, it looks like it would grade Fine to VF ish and is a common date. You'd pay more for grading than you bought it for.....nice find though and great price! Well done!

You paid $10 and if you spend $40 getting it graded, you know have $50 in it.

You could probably buy a nice PCGS or NGC MS63 for about the same or less.

Even worse, when you go to sell it (believe me, you will or someone else will) it will only bring $25 even slabbed because the slab means nothing much for a coin such as that.

Definitely not worth grading.... go to a coin shop (or online) and buy a do it yourself slab to preserve it....

Not worth grading - you won't realize any additional value for it, and as a previous poster said, your cost will be more than the coin is worth.

Nice, did you miss the opportunity to ask what else the seller had laying around?

You can't even get a good pizza anymore for $10...and you got a pizza history for $10. a folks.jpg "Ba di, ba di, ba di, That's All Folks!"
