Just to be a curmudgeon I would say XF45 or so, not enough luster and or strong enough strike.

That's what I'm thinking. It looks really happy in the current holder.

I'd keep it in the holder it's in but go for the sticker like others have suggested.

The only thing if it has the gold CAC that could mean a 63 or 64 or better.

The Buffalo Nickel isn't a series I collect but I thought it looked better than a 62 but it doesn't make sense to crack it unless it comes back at least a 65.

Where do you see rub at? This isn't a series I collect.

Nor do I. Hair braid, Hair below the part, tail, rear leg and horn. all appear to have rubs to me.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

No, not necessarily. This is a difficult series to grade, and you provided dark pictures. In hand, there is probably a reason its graded 62 that we just aren't seeing in the pictures. It may be a 63 or something, but there's a vast difference between the assigned 62 and the average guess of 64+.

It would probably grade higher then a 62 but with the old, old green tag, I'd be happy and leave it as is.

there might be some collectors out there that like that 1st gen. slab ? I would leave it in there IMO.

A friend said this: "it looks 65 to me which would increase the value by about $260".

    I don't see any significant marks. I'll guess MS66.

Some of the old holder coins are undergraded, but they are full of problem coins as well and with PCGS' extremely long wait on their "guarantee" submissions, people steer clear of the problem coins.

When I see an apparently undergraded old holder coin I wonder what were the graders thinking? There must be a reason for the 62, though an above average ms example usually, the 62 indicates, strike, luster, marks were significantly below gem.

I think it looks nice just where it is. I don't think sending to CAC would hurt.
