I forgot about these things.....besides, I'm saving up for some Daniel Carr stuff, I can smell 'em in the air.
Naw Carr stuff is cool but not this cool I wish I could buy one but I need my car more Sent from my C6740N using Tapatalk
If gold doesn't go up enough to cover the premium, these will likely sell for a discount later on just like the 2014 gold Kennedy. I'd be up for grabbing one for the right price.
I am more surprised that the standing liberty quarter and the walk-in liberty half is still available... Wow just fracking wow Sent from my C6740N using Tapatalk
Lol check out the prices MCM wants for a PCGS or NGC slabbed one http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odk...rican-liberty&utm_campaign=MEE0729&ad=MEE0729
Yup. The scent of an old barn with a generational family of owls living in it permeates the air right now doesn't it
Fascinating that so many are for sale on ebay at stupid money prices. The reverse looks good it's just the obverse that's gonna make that coin a loser. I dare somebody here to buy it!! I double dare you!!
(quote) U.S. Mint spokesman Michael White said April 7 that the Mint recorded first-day sales of 14,285 of the maximum authorization of 100,000 coins. FAIL
That ain't a cheap coin. Most of the coin collecting population won't be able to afford it; slabbed or not.
Indeed, be really interesting to know how many of those sales were to commercial interests versus people who want it for their collection. Compare this launch to the 2015 version that had a 50k mintage and sold out within the first few hours.
