Some one is pretty brave spending that kind of money on a coin graded by who knows who with pics that were probably kept dark for a reason.
If i were buying a key date coin I would have to go with one of the big three.
I don't know how this guy keeps his 100% rating selling these off-the-wall slabs.

I not a merc collector but isn't this one of the ones that a more often faked?
I agree with Vipergts2 man I would never drop that kind of money sight unseen for a never heard of grader?

Does that mean I can open a "Pinole Grading Service"?

Not to disrespect any honest online sellers, but in my opinion, you'd have to be completely stupid to buy a key coin like that online, graded by anyone! If I'm spending a grand or so, I want to personally see the coin with my own eyes before I commit to a purchase like that. What are these buyers thinking....if they're thinking at all?!

Sounds like a grading service thats ran out of someones basement. Yes, the 16-d Merc is one of the most counterfieted U.S. coins there is and I really doubt this is a real one. I cant believe theres been 22 bids on this thing and its over $2000 dollars. Someone is going to be very disappointed to say the least.

It's actually graded by PGC (Piedmont Grading Corp). That is a famous grading company that runs it's business in the basement of King of Coins. How can people actually bid 2000 without really checking this out? Does KOC live in a McMansion and drive a Lexus? It wouldn't surprise me after looking at some of these bids.

Any potential confusion with PCGS is strictly intentional.

For $19.99 shipping, it had better be at my door by the time I close my browser.

Oh that wacky King o Coins!

I'm sure he's honest that's why I need my 16x loupe to read the fine print.

Shouldn't Piedmont be Piedmont Coin Gradingn Service though? Then THEY WOULD BE PCGS. The grading standards seem to be in line. NOT!!!

did you guys reed this......I have provided many pictures. Please view them, and grade the coin for yourself before making a bid. {My grade is my opinion, not a guarantee.} Your bid should be based on what you grade the coin. You may agree or disagree with {my grade}. If in doubt, contact me and we can discuss the coin.......I cant see the date theres only 2 pics not many...
