One day left in the month. I was hoping for an average of 8 ounces of silver a month this year. I got 4 boxes coming in today. Hopefully I can hit my quota!

box 1: 1 64 and 1 67 with a huge hole drilled into it
Box 2: 1 65
box 3: skunk
box 4: 1 53 (Ender)

My girlfriend made out pretty good with her 4 boxes as she got 3 90%ers and 18 40%ers.

 

I out did you Bman, this morning I got 1041.Silvers in a box of 500!!

Just got it! Been running errands all day, and sadly not coin errands! Touche!

 

Good one! I happened to get another box of halves this morning before the coin show I went to. 2 40%ers, not much to talk about. I bought a roll of dimes to fix my silver craving though. 13.5xFace wasn't too bad, $.40 over spot.

 

Good price. Coin shops around here charge at least $2 over spot per oz.

 

Traveling for work today. Long drive and I did this:

$18.50 in loose halves: skunk
17 CWR halves: skunk
31 MWR: Skunk


Just a crappy day Hunting. Hit around 14 banks. Oh well, made it to my destination for work. Will do four boxes on Friday yet again. Keep Hunting my friends!

 

Well, it took 3+ months, but I did it! Found my first hole filler wheat cent of 2017!


I've only checked 2 of the rolls so far, saving the rest for later. But, I found a '36 in addition to the '29 in just those two BWRs. Lets hope the rest contain more pleasant surprises.

If it's any consolation, have not done have for about two weeks which feels weird, but been a ton of skunks lately. Hopefully things will change this week as boxes are rolling in!

 

I'm no stranger to skunk streaks with halves. You just have to hack and slash your way through them. For me that means doing more boxes a week than my norm.

 

How very true. Box 1 was skunkfest. Today is a new day with more to come!
