Beautifull coin, I would leave it in PGGS holder!

It's a hard one to decide! I don't really collect US and it's nice, but most of the coins on the gold page are decent. This coin was obtained in trade so I'm not being 'price sensitive' enough perhaps.

But, I think it's fairly graded and I suppose if I ever wanted to sell it I could get it regraded. The Saint on that page is also a crackout from a 63. With only the single gold page, I wanted nicer ones, and this was the last gold coin I needed for the album.

I re-read my post--it was three coins for the 7070, NOT the gold page alone.

The third one for my 7070--much more 'chocolatey' in person. My photo skills on old, dark copper not so accurate as yet.

Love it! I have been thinking about starting a Franklin Half Dollar set. This coin makes me want to even more now...Might just have to purchase one to add to my coin collection and complete the set later.

The Franklin, IMHO, is one of the simplest and strongest designs in US coinage. Too bad he had a short life span.
