I just bought my son a Japanese Shiba Inu. I went to purchase a beagle, which is 1/3 the price of the Shiba Inu (a brand I had never heard of before). But my son fell in love with this dog, and the dog fell in love with my son. It was almost magical, so I dug deep into my pockets and bought it. And to keep it coin related, here is my new canine coin. Show off pics of your dogs, or coins of dogs and wolves.
I love beagles, but Shiba Inu's are cute too. Great that your son has a new best friend. I miss mine growing up Sex. Pompeius Fostlus. (137 B.C.) We had a Shiba named Peko for 14 years. Delightful dogs, but quirky. Check on YouTube using the search phrase "Where's Satan"
If the cost of that dog is going to put a couple of coins on hold, totally worth it for the look on your son's face.
That is a beautifull new puppy! Congrats Sallent, we always had dogs, still do (2) Have a Rottie, Boxer... Sorry, had to post one of my modern coins AV 250 Kwacha 1979 Zambia 33.45g. 34mm. 24 Countries issued coins 1gold/2silver African Cape Hunting Dog
$1,800 for a dog. LOL. That could be a lot of coins, or one super coin, but a coin won't lick your face, or love you back. And a coin will never be your loyal friend and companion.
Aww, cool dog Sallent. Love the breed. Dog coins huh? This is my Triskeles win from earlier seems like months ago. But it was finally delivered last week. Still haven't had time for photos but its an awsomely sweet tiny coin. Plus a she wolf & the twins my girl passed away a few years ago. She was 13 about the life expectancy for a grey wolf huskie mix. she had a great life & yeah I still miss her.

My son named him Chippy. I would have prefered something a little different, but I'm not going to argue over a name with a 6 year old.
My dog died some years back, and my wife and I just can't make ourselves go through the heartache again. She was the very best. EVER!
