I'm thinking that a Carr Peace would have the D in the same place on all the coins from that particular die. I don't think the D moves around unless DC is punching the D after the striking, which I doubt.

 

If that is dated 1964 it isn't a DCarr Peace.

If you found yours 30 years ago it couldn't be a DC Peace dollar anyway. He didn't release his first one to the public until 2010.

Maybe you should send yours to PCGS and collect the reward.

 

I had thought about seeing it in a slab.but that would make me Tooooooo Famous it it came back as a Genuine 1964 or if it would even come back at all...Dungeon Time..LOL...!!!!!!!!!

For kicks sake, how much does it weigh? You need it to be close to 26.73 grams.
