I was trying to provide a hint -- without loudly spoiling the OP's April 1st gag.

FYI, in another thread Dan says, "Dang, I wish I had them ready to list and make it a double-cross April fools. The dies have been engraved but not heat-treated yet."

So I'm guessing the octagon owl might be released later this month.

Or maybe the release will coincide with the May 11th - 13th Denver Coin Expo. IIRC that's what he did last year... very cool to see a bunch of newly-released octagons and WLH, SLQ, & Merc fantasy overstrikes for sale at his tables.
