Yeah - but I have to set up a search in each category. I would rather have 1 spot where I could just list these sellers - then as I peruse ebay I would not see any of their auctions period. I only have a few favorite searches - most of the times I am just searching forums in general. As far as I know sellers can block bidders from all of their auctions - well I think buyers should be able to block sellers auctions. I only have 4/5 sellers I would like to do this to - one is ol' mr sgs. Well then I could block all those that are selling 150K of coins for 150 dollars. Then when I clicked on US Coins I would not have 10 pages of worthless stuff - now that would be cool. :)

I reported that auction also - not sure it will do any good, but what the heck.

You're absolutely right Rim. Guess we should just throw in the towel.

Doubt he flew in for the coin but again you're right - he probably has a Lear and free fuel.

Don't take me wrong here I have always enjoyed your comments and this series (of comments) sucks but is ALL TO TRUE.

On the other hand, we can continue to question over and over and over. If we stop doing that we may as well all become ebay scammers. Hell, we all know how by now.

Regis Philbin said it best. WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE. IMHO Regis sucks too.

As best I can tell, nothing he's doing is against ebay policy except perhaps using the photos without permission. The auction won't be pulled.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to add, I'm really surprised nobody mentioned the shipping price!! :mouth:

Maybe he is planning on shipping the coin overnight via Fedex insured for $7000? I'm just playing devil's advocate!:D

I have probably reported more coins than anyone here. I have reported counterfeits (with mixed success), I have reported excessive shipping (with mixed success), I have reported over 15 identical listings (with no success), and a few others.

However, I am not Don Quiote. I know what a windmill looks like!

Speaking of lousy ebayers, look up " king-o-coins" again. The feedback is rolling in, check out the obvious counterfeits, and the great feedback he gets. Unbelievable, but sad. I have emailed a cpl of the worst losers, wow, incredible.

You know ... I call me cynical or paranoid .. but since it does seem to be the same sellers / buyers in many cases .. I think it's more than coin flipping... the thought of 'money laundering' comes to mind. Legitimate ways to pay each other high sums of money via an established medium...?
What movie did that happen in... the guy had ugly art being sold by gangsters at high rates...?

Because insurance is included in the shipping> Not sure how is is going to do it, but for $5000 insurance, you are looking at ~$50.

Actually, the insurance for registered mail on a $5000 package is only $17.85.

I get where you're coming from believe me. So just call me Don it's close enough to my real name.

Besides, I rarely report actually. I question. That doesn't take 47 channels. You either get a response or you don't.

Everyone that reads this should submit a best offer of $1.00 for the coin. That will drive him nuts.

Here is the chart from USPS
    Fee . . . . . . . . . . Insurance Coverage
    $1.65 ................ $0.01 to $50
    $2.05 ................ $50.01 to $100
    $2.45 ................ $100.01 to $200
    $4.60 ................ $200.01 to $300
    $5.50 ................ $300.01 to $400
    $6.40 ................ $400.01 to $500
    $7.30……………$500.01 to $600
    $7.30 plus $0.90 per $100 or fraction thereof over $600 to $5,000.

    Please explain.

This seller is just odd... check the full details of his feedback... I know I've said this before but 'hijacked ebay name' comes to mind...

Actually Dan, I think the buyer paid, then asked for a refund when he got the fake. It is not even a real Morgan, looks like a silver round, lol.
