Could you post some more pictures? Don't tell us what is wrong, we love to guess.

Great photos, but what is it you are looking at? I do not see anything obvious but am not expert like some on here.

Hasn't anyone told you that you're supposed to hold the coin in your hand to photograph it? Preferably if you have really grubby looking fingers. Being an auto mechanic and/or a fingernail chewer helps immensely.

Seriously though, welcome to CT please do us a favor and write in your thread or by your very large amount of pictures what you think is wrong with the coin so we don't have to guess. I see nothing obvious but I don't know what you think you see. More specific questions would be appreciated but no more photos are needed at this time

What do you think the error is?
Looks like a normal 1959-D to me.

Sorry but all I see is circulation wear. No Mint Errors.

I'd like to buy your penny. Will you take $300 for it? Do you accept PayPal?

And hence the reason why new members don't want to reply or repost. I have several for that price, interested, however it is a cent not a penny. The British have pennies we have cents. :bookworm:

OP called it a "penny". But, you are, of course, correct. At least SOME of us have CENTS.

Good point, the OP, did use the word penny. after re-reading my post, I seemed a little flippant and did not intend to. Must have been before my first cup of Joe. Morning here on the left coast.

Geez. I really want to be a member and feel like I have some more knowledgeable people to help with my coins, but I truly couldn't handle anyone talking to me without a hint of humility or compassion.. Literally every post I have looked at to find information is full of pretentiousness.

AmyNicole they're just teasing with you having some fun they don't really mean anything by it.

But it does help if you give a little more information exactly what you're looking at and what you think might be in error.

By the way welcome to CT
