    $25 CWR Cents: 42-D, 51, 46, 54-S, 56-D, 57-D (x2), 58 (x2), and a personal record setting 1,347 coppers.

I thought the box felt heavier than usual when I carried it out of the bank. Nine rolls were solid pre-83s with lots of shine. I got a kick of unrolling them. Almost made me regret I wasn't around to search boxes for silver in the mid-60's!

I've found hundreds, including what appeared to be a collection of EF-BU examples that were dumped in a machine somewhere and ended up in a box that I got 143 of them from.

I've found 5 or 6. And the one I just posted was the best.

The first one I found was in pocket change, circa 1979. The rest were found hunting. 2 from BWRs and the rest CWRs.

I've only found one in circulation, and it was from a pickup of customer rolls that were 75% wheats, and even then I only found a single '43.

My grandmother was a teller for 23 years and pulled a quart-sized ziploc bag worth of steel cents. I'll eventually inherit them from my mother :woot:

A week ago, I got a roll of halves at the bank. I have been searching rolls of halves for years and never found so much as a 40% silver half. Opened the roll and the third coin was a 1941 Walker!!.... ... Got five rolls of halves yesterday, same bank... nothing....not eve a 40% half.... back to the old routine.
