I have been doing some reading on the Susan B that is locked in here... I seems to be a type 2 and the Susan B is quite valuable by its lonesome... Let me know what you think the value of the set or any individual may be worth.

I can't really see the type of S on the Susan B.

I unfortunatley cannot see the clear s with the picture and the top of the MM looks filled as if type I, not saying that it isnt a type II, but i cannot make a difinitive yes or no with out a better picture. 1979 s has type I & II, the type II is a clearly defined s the type I is filled and not crisp. 1981 has two types of MM as well type I is the type II 1979 and the type II is the clear flat s. Both type II's carry a premium. The 1981 being a higher. A type II 1979 proof is around 40.00 to 45.00. The 1981 type II, is around 100.00

Maybe you can compare the S in hand to this:

The pic on the right is from a 81 Ty-2 coin not from a 79 Ty-2 coin.

I got it off the net, let me look again.

Only one punch existed to add the “S” mint mark to the production of proof coin dies. In the late summer of 1979 the punch broke. The punch was just about worn out anyway. Coins struck with dies that had been stamped with the old “S” punch (Type I) had a San Francisco mint mark that looked more like a blob than a letter. A new punch was hurriedly prepared at the Philadelphia Mint and working dies prepared with the new “S” punch have a clear “S” (Type II).
Unfortunately, the new punch was never prepared or annealed properly and by 1981 it too looked like a blob. And so, in 1981 another punch was prepared making two varieties similar to the 1979 proofs, a filled “S” (Type I) and a clear “S” (Type II).
Because both Type II punches were put into service toward the end of the run of proofs for their respective years, there are much smaller numbers of Type II proofs and therefore they bring higher prices when offered in the market.
This one and the other one both claim to be 1979.
