I haven't seen any others yet either. You do own 6% of the total population though. You may well be the only flipper. Time will tell.

Someone sold one BIN for $199 a couple weeks ago. That's the only sale record I've seen.

Your first BIG MISTAKE was putting up three of the same piece during the same time, most especially if you are the only seller on eBay.
I think you may have gotten more than or close to the $199, but once people saw you at $195 you may have changed their opinions in value .
I think raising the other two BIN's to $295 was a great idea, but I personally would just end those two and relist them at a later time .
No guarantees from me either, but I do have a LITTLE EXPERIENCE selling D.C. pieces on the secondary market.

What made you finally jump on board and buy Dans work ? Did you happen to keep one extra piece for your own collection?? You don't have to answer if you choose not to ..
    Good Luck on your auction..

I'm going to sell them all eventually. And thanks!

I think removing one and keeping the other at a high price would be smart. Kinda shows bidders on the auction one that that is the only other one available, and shows a target price. Then they think they are getting a deal at anything under that price.

I agree that one is possibly a good idea as there is no need for two . That doesn't represent scarcity if just one guy owns three .

He only paid $80, so anyway you look at it he is already making a profit even if the auction ends now ;)

I'm fairly sure that there are three D.C. Collectors out there that are not too happy that you all have encouraged one of the D.C. attackers to enter the flip game :(
That's pretty hypocritical coming from me in particular, but I'm also a hard core collector.
This piece is doing well now and will continue to do so .. my prediction and not my guarantee ;$

I only "attack" DC for not signing his overstrike copies. The original pieces, like these hard times tokens, I take no issue with. However, when he copies someone else's design like the Morgan dollars, he should protect the hobby and sign/initial his work.

Is this your first purchase from him or have you bought other non overstrike pieces in the past ??
Of course you don't have to answer as it's really none of my business, but was just curious especially after seeing all of your criticisms towards Cascades guarantees ;)

Secretly Books, Horse Face, Roger and a few others are hoarding away D.C. Issues too upon following these threads. lol

The upside is now we have RARE COIN/TOKEN/MEDALS DEALERS selling D.C. Stuff .
    I'm liking the progression :)

This was my 1st DC purchase. I knew with a mintage of 50 (actually 54), that I couldn't miss. That combined with the subject matter made it a profit-maker.

I am all for flipping. I think it helps keep his coins "hot" and in demand. If they didn't go up in value, I would not be as interested in them.

Well with shipping it went for about $166 at auction. I've got about 2 of my 3 paid for already!

My guarantees, at least when it comes to Carr items, are as solid as the purity of government minted bullion.

At $400 now, which was my original estimate on an early quick flip. How high will it go? Don't know but I'm thinking $600+ maybe even close to $1k

I bow down to your wisdom, almighty Chris. But since I'm too busy making money flipping my own Carr Tokens, I'm afraid I don't have time to "suck it."

Yeah. DX. Remember China, ewww. I was more of a Stinger man though. Loved how he came down from the rafters and just started hitting dudes with his baseball bat never saying a single word. Only watched for a year or two in the late 90s before it got boring. Plus a little in the 80s when I was a kid with Andre the Giant and Hulkamania

Degeneration X were hilarious, though. Soooo many kids got in trouble giving the "X" to the teachers back in 8th and 9th grade. Lmao
