You did a good job at highlighting the cameo but sacrificed some of the clashing. When I was trying to image mine it was so hard to capture both well. You either got the cameo and not all of the clashing or got most of the clashing sacrificing the cameo. You did well though. Now, A DIE CRACK IN THE DATE!! I missed that. Gotta check mine now

There is some clashing in the date area, but no die crack.
It is possible that something on that particular host coin (such as a scratch or minor planchet flaw) made it look like a die crack after the over-striking.

 

I don't think it's part of the clashing. The line off the 4 is too close to the rim to be a clash artifact of the reverse motto. It must be a remnant from the host coin. Darn, I thought it was a die crack..

Kinda sucks that Dan hasn't released the canceled die Morgan's yet. I'd like to send those too but they can wait for the next special.

 

Does anyone have an extra 2019 apollo astronaut overstrike they'd be willing to sell or trade?? I just kept putting it off on orders then it went dark. I'm kicking myself.

 

I believe my recent experience is typical:

-- Feb 16th I submitted 19 Dan Carr pieces.
-- Feb 21st received by ANACS.
-- "Expected Ship Date" March 28th.
-- Actually shipped today March 23rd.

Very pleased with the results: two graded 70, one graded 68, and the remaining 16 graded 69.
