$138 in CWR and loose halves from 2 banks on my drive home from work tonight yielded 1 beat up 2007D NIFC, and 1 1996P with a die crack, my first. The remainder were common circulated Cu-Ni clad.

Oh well, I'll keep at it.

On a business trip. Drove From Bismarck, ND to Fargo, ND. Hit several banks in small towns on the way, nothing as far as halves go. I got a lot of "someone just came here and bought them all". So after $500 in MWR, $100 in CWR, and $50 in loose halves I decided to give up out of frustration. I still have a lot of free time before my next sales meeting but I'm just too pissed right now to keep going. I have four boxes of halves waiting for me when I get home on Friday though.

Bad news, one of my banks will only let BWR to commercial customers as of Monday. The coins in the above searches are from one credit union. At the credit union the machine takes mini-dollars but not halves which is how they end up with rolled halves.

I didn't think I would come across one honestly, but the side was so bright it screamed.

I've found only 1 '87 proof half, it was an ender on a MWR, and it was pristine before the rolling machine scratched it around the entire perimeter of the obverse :blackeye:

Why, Loomis, why? I've come across a lot lately like that too. Anyone ever found a 1970 D in the wild? That 1987 was the only decent find in the whole box, too. Nada silver.

    4 cwr of halves... one was a full roll of 40%. 3 - '65, 3 - '66, 5 - '67, 5 - '68, and 4 - '69.
About $15 in loose halves... one 40% and one nifc.
    I'll take it [IMG]
