How? I logged on at 11:59AM EDT and the option could not be selected on the mint web site.

I see you are spreading your doom and gloom on multiple threads now. Any outbreaks of communicable diseases you'd like to use to cheer us up?

As far as I'm concerned, the Jefferson coin doesn't even fall in the SPOUSE catagory!! I look for it to still be a huge seller for the MINT and for all those who are lucky enough to get one of each!! It will be by far the best looking coin in the series, some people will opt to collect only the so called "BATCHELORS"

I will call and let them know I love the limit, and I suggest all others do the same.

Ah, dude, they sold out in a couple hours last time, duh, of coarse there will be no more after a week, but there will be some left at 5:30 p.m. for guys who work during the day. You need to rethink what your saying, there is a real lack of logic there.

In my opinion I believe the mint will sell these coins as fast as they can take the orders. I am not counting on this coin lasting till I get home from work. Have some leave time and probably take this day.

I applaud the mint for taking this step to try and distribute these coins to as many people as possible. It has got to cost them more to process these 1 per option orders than it would if they kept the limit at 5.

I really just see this limit as slowing down the sell out some. It will help many get the coins that probably miss out. Personally I have two Friends that have retired who have said they would be glad to help me FREE OF CHARGE. All these big time dealers have to do is rent some Credit Card and Mailing address from employees, friends of employees, friends of friends ect. Of course this is just my opinion and I do not pretend to have the answers

A question for the room. How many had difficulty ordering the first spouse coins say 15 to 20 minutes after they went on Sale? How difficult was it to get your orders through?

I started calling around 12:30 that day. My order is stamped at 1:16PM thus it took me 45 minutes to reach an operator.

Thanks for the information Taurus. Phone or internet , Mary Ann or Ginger. Still trying to figure that one out. For all those under 30 please disregard the Mary Ann or Ginger statement.

Not many people will buy the entire series, just one or two. I like most people will just buy the Bust design....A modern day gold bust coin. These will remain popular.

Is the production limit on Jefferson gold spouse limited to 20,000?

The last time, I dialed up and put the phone on speaker while I logged on to the website. I've always been a fan of the threesome approach. It reminds me of my college years.

When faced with a difficult choice; choose both Mary Ann and Ginger would be the obvious choice.

You seem to be out of touch with this series. Don't put too much faith in what you might read in the local yokal or know it all coin mag. Spouse gold is $1,800+ MS/PR every day of the week and with the low mintage it will continue to go up. Denial is a river in Eygpt my friend. Get on the bus or feel free to spell the fumes. :) We are a still a free country at least until 08.
