Hello there. I need help with identifying this coin that me and my mother found when we were rearranging her room. To be honest we are stumped as to what it is and how it got there. So, any help would be greatly appreciated.
To my eye looks to be a copy and bad at that of an 8 reales Spanish coin. It doesn't look silver some sort of base metal. The shield and cross is so off. Maybe a cheap copy used it movies or tv.
I'm no expert, but my first thought was at 10-11 o'clock on the first pic, and 2-3 o'clock on the second was mold marks.
