    hey,

    picked up this coin in Mysore for rs 50. Want to know if it is real or one of tourist souvenirs... thanks! :)

    Does not look refine. It should be a tourist sourvenir. Anyway, can still keep it as a collection.

    Have to agree it deffinatly looks like a tourist souvenirs LOL but have to admit quite neat :D

    And looking at the lettertype used for "east india company": not a temple token from 1818. Much too modern!

    What does UKL mean?

    thats a modern fabricated temple token ... (not a real temple token, as these are made exclusively for the unfortunate collectors)
