Yes, it’s a well circulated 1916-D Mercury Dime. I paid under $400 for it and I’ve seen worse looking examples of this same coin sell for a thousand or slightly over one last several months. I forgot I had this one so now I have 4 of them. St least I’m making a profit.
I have one in a similar condition. I submitted it to PCGS just for authentication. It came back as Genuine/Details.
I've got 2 right now, but going to sell one when I get a "round2it", lol. Or trade it. Guess which one I'm getting rid of, lol.
Your coin is a good deal at $400, profit for sure. Mine, I call her cutthroat, but it is genuine at least. I've had her for so long, I don't know it I want to upgrade or not. Mike.
I've got about 14 tube rolls of Mercs. I've never really looked at them carefully. Dang you! Now I'm going to lose sleep wondering about their contents. I REALLY don't want to visit my safe deposit boxes again soon.
Hey, let me, let me!!!! I'll gladly do it for you. And, you won't have to worry about me stealing anything from you because that's part of the conditions of my parole. No more "borrowing things" that might be questionable as to whether they were actually mine, or not? And, my Parole Officer already doesn't like me. I mean, what are the odds that his sister owned a 3 Carat Diamond Ring, that I found where someone (her) had lost it by the Kitchen sink at Church, after they had fed all us Homeless Folks. It sure was a good thing that they noticed it missing and just patted us all down (well, actually just me, I never could lie without giggling). But, I've got no clue how it got down in my underwear. I guess, when I washed my hands and pulled up my pants so that my underwear wasn't showing, I might have accidently knocked it off the sink, and up over the big pan of Banana Pudding, and 2 pans of Bread Pudding and ended up in my underwear. That's just something that could happen, right? But, we never did figure out how the ring ended up on the safety pin that I had the big hole in my underwear closed up with. I guess it came unhooked and, someway, that ring falling onto it must have accidently closed it back together. But, don't worry, I wouldn't steal from you because I'd have to go back and finish that other 11 1/2 years that I've got left on my original sentence. Yes Sir, you can trust me. If you want, you can just mail them to me and I'll check them for you and then mail back to you. Right now, I can't travel across the State Line. Just let me know. Hey Barney, I truly hope you find a good one! Sorry for the post, I was bored, lol. Kenneth
