Rejects from the cash dispenser: 4 wheat cents: 1928-D, 1929-D, 1929-S, 1939-S Also, a 1990 UK 5 pence As per the registers directly, so many of the 2026 dimes are showing up they're the majority lol. Once a fill another roll I think I'm not going to bother saving them anymore. Found a nice 1982-D quarter, upgraded what I had in the album, so there's that.
Finds from the register today: Enough 2026-D dimes to finish a roll, so officially no longer have to care about these lol. 1976-D bicentennial quarter And quite amazingly, a 1925 buffalo nickel! I haven't seen one of these in circulation (coin roll hunting doesn't count) in years!
Food Lion has finally stopped dispensing cents from the self-checkouts. Got a 2026 Pilgrim quarter, a grimy 1990s nickel, and a shiny new dime - dated 2025. Again. Still no 2026 dimes or nickels here.
3x 1776-2026-D nickels today; these still feel worth saving to me, as I don't seem to find many. Oddly now seeing TONS of Emerging Liberty dimes to the point the drawers are mostly these dimes.
Pretty good day today, found: 2x 1776-2026-D Mayflower quarters a 1776-2926-D nickel And a Series 2017-A $20 star note in pretty decent condition (rarely bother to save star notes bigger than $10 but decided to make an exception this time!)
I got two dimes back from the Food Lion self-checkout today, after having to run all of my coins and a couple of my bills through multiple times. It's a very skeptical self-checkout, apparently. (At least it's only suspicious of my money, as opposed to the ones at Harris-Teeter that make the attendant come over at least once or twice per checkout because they're sure I sleight-of-handed an extra item into the bag.) Neither one was a 2026 issue. Again. One quarter was a Pilgrim, but not nearly as nice as other Pilgrims I've already received.
