1960D nickel with something going on with the rim. I thought it was damage at first till I looked at it closer. Not the best pic but will post more as needed. So as I took a closer look I could see the rim spliting and get wider. Then on the other side of the splitting the metal is like a clump. I do believe is called a cud? It kinda resembles but idk can anyone tell what this is? Thanks guys/gals
I think you may be correct in thinking it is a cud. If it is there really would not be any premium added, as it is so small. You would need to post a photo of the edge of the coin to make a better judgement. Have you been to this site? http://www.error-ref.com/die-breaks/
